Accessibility statement.
KJWM treats accessibility as part of the standard we hold the rest of our work to. This website is built so that it can be read, navigated and used by as many people as possible, including those who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced motion.
Conformance status
This site is built to the intent of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and is reviewed internally against that standard. We describe it as partially conformant: most of the standard is met, and the areas we know fall short are listed below. It has not been audited or certified by an independent third party, and nothing on this page should be read as a certification or a legal compliance claim.
Measures we take
- Semantic document structure with landmarks, a single main region per page and an ordered heading hierarchy.
- Keyboard operation for navigation, menus, toggles and the enquiry form, with visible focus indicators.
- Text and interface contrast checked against the black and gold palette.
- Reduced-motion preferences honoured: animation and scroll effects are suppressed when the operating system requests it.
- Minimum 44 by 44 pixel touch targets for primary controls.
- Responsive layout tested from 320 pixels upward, without horizontal scrolling.
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful imagery; decorative marks are hidden from assistive technology.
Known limitations
- The opening sequence uses motion and depth effects. These are reduced when a reduced-motion preference is set, but not removed entirely.
- Some terminal-style panels are atmospheric rather than informational. Any content they suggest is also stated in plain text elsewhere on the page.
- The site has been reviewed internally and has not been assessed or certified by an independent third party.

- The page address where you met the problem.
- The browser, device and any assistive technology you were using.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility requests within five business days and to confirm what we can do and by when. Any information otherwise published on this site can be supplied in a plain-text or other agreed format on request, at no cost.
If our response falls short
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, reply in writing to the same address and mark it for escalation. It will be reviewed personally rather than through a support queue. Our privacy notice explains how correspondence is handled and retained.
